Assalamualaikum!

Here I am attempting to write a blog, so where do I start? Usually people who have blogs talk about philosophical stuff and politics and all that shit but I’m not all about that. I guess you could say that I’ll be writing random stuff of what an awkward 16 year old girl would usually do in a boarding school filled with how do I put it down nicely? ‘Different people’ very different. So, if it doesn’t concern you, you can go ahead and close this blog and go eat a cookie or something.

Why so awkward?

Phase 1: Fame

Remember when I said I was a total awkward person like five seconds ago? Well I used to be completely different, in fact the exact opposite. I was the cool one, the one people would want to hang with but all of that changed when I moved into a new school. Oh life could not be more terrible, I’m alone and barely able to communicate with anyone. All of the fame from my old school is gone. I’m nobody now.

Phase 2: weirdo!!!

To add to all of that, I’m weird, like really weird, like cosmic nerd weird. And people at my new school can’t accept that. I cry most nights thinking about it, wondering whether I’d need to change to please them, I guess you could say I don’t fit in and I can’t find any way to do so, I mean I have friends but it’s not the same. I can’t seem to find a person who can really relate to my weirdness.

Phase 3: oh big brother

To top all of that I have this super-duper religious brother that everybody looks up to and I’m nothing compared to him, the exact opposite. Like fire and ice or Mick Jagger and Mozart. With having a brother like that at school I’m always compared with him, typical sentences would be: oh she is so not like her brother! Or: OMG can’t she like be more her brother, what a total weirdo.yay! Now I feel more confident, thanks society! You really know how to welcome people!
